Dr. Sandra oversees the external operations of the company, its partnerships, and external relations. She actively identifies partners with similar interests to Juba Strategic Consulting (JSC) and build areas of common interests and leads JSC engagements with ministries and government agencies within the country. Dr. Sandra boasts a wealth of expertise in clinical, public health emergencies, academic teaching and research, and program management experiences gained through previous work with universities, hospitals, and NGOs including the University of Juba, Johns Hopkins University, Juba Teaching Hospital, and local and international NGOs and UN agencies in South Sudan. A one-time Miss South Sudan, and a
member of the South Sudan Women in Medicine (SSWIM), Dr. Sandra is a strong advocate of equal opportunities and equity, ensuring that roles are not determined by society, but by one’s abilities when there is gender equality. She ensures that every approach of JSC considers gender mainstreaming. Sandra is also a humanitarian and advocates for child health and protection, she holds an MBBS from the University of Juba – Khartoum, and an MPH from the Johns Hopkins University Bloomberg School of Public Health in the United States. She enjoys walks, music, watching documentaries, and cooking.
